What counts as an "asset"?
Any distinct infrastructure component we monitor: EC2 instances, RDS databases, ECS services, Lambda functions, S3 buckets, load balancers, DynamoDB tables, and equivalents on other clouds.
Are there setup fees?
No setup fees for Starter or Professional. Enterprise has a one-time $2,500 implementation fee (waived for annual contracts).
What's the contract term?
Month-to-month for all tiers. Annual contracts receive 10-15% discount.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes, anytime. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Upgrade packages (Essentials → Business → Complete) or asset tiers (Starter → Professional → Enterprise).
What's the difference between Observe and Manage?
Observe gives you the platform (dashboards, alerts, automation). Manage adds dedicated engineering hours — we actively work on your infrastructure, handle incidents, and make changes on your behalf.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes:
- Annual (pay monthly): 10% off
- Annual (prepay): 15% off
- Startup programs (YC, Techstars, etc.): 25% off first year
- Non-profit organizations: 30% off
Can I add engineering hours to Observe?
Yes. We offer engineering hour retainers starting at $749/month (5 hours) or on-demand at $175/hour, without upgrading to the Manage tier.

We offer a 2-week onboarding period. If you're not satisfied within 14 days, we'll refund your first month.
